Dark elfs first appeared in the norse mythology as the opposite of the light elfs . In Norse mythology, svartálfar (Old Norse "swart elves" or "black elves", singular svartálfr) are beings who dwell in Svartálfaheimr (Old Norse "world of the swart elves" or "world of the black elves") and on the other hand Ljósálfar (Old Norse "Light Elves", singular Ljósálfr), these are two contrasting types of elves; the prior dwell within the earth and are most swarthy, while the latter live in Álfheimr, located in heaven, and are "fairer than the sun to look at". Dark elfs first appeared in the games dungeon and dragons ( where they were called Drow ) and in warhammer , now they are wide known and in other games lineage etc.
In this tread we make propositions for a new faction " The dark elfs " , would like to hear your ideas about cards abilities and new spells related to dark elfs , have fun .
A teamplate used to make card for this faction is included in mizuki's teamplate link on main WarFN mock up card thread .

Chaos is like Ice Bolt, huh? I still have to say you have to work on the skill text placement. The top border line is too high, sometimes the ability description is positioned too high. Apart from that, they're cool. I like Centaur Icecaller, it matches my Centaur Thunderspear!
Are you a member of our FB group already? You can post your works there as well. =)

Yep i am a bit lazy at border placement cause usually i make cards in groups fo 8 or more i make them fast and sometimes the text and the title ( or the top and bottom line ) when i move them they don't move accordingly and move a little upper or lower than intented ( like they are supprasing an obstacle and move a bit more forward ) and i am not able to center them exactly , anyway about the group ( warstorm fanatics) i send them a invite request and i am w8ting for the response .

I like this. Chaos is an opposing version of Frostbolt, but I think I would still change it up.
Chaos X (Deal 0-X damage to the opposing enemy. That enemy has a 50% chance of losing it's next action.)
Like a mix of Firebolt random damage (fits with something called Chaos, IMHO) and the Frostbolt turn skip.

Yeah, I like Zuty's ideaa, since it IS Chaos. Chaos units with Lady Raiven... Now that's something.

At first when i made a card using chaos i made it like this : But in that form its powerfull and remindes the elf spell , trap all but it had 100% rate instead of 75 so then i tranformed it to unit ability and with damage . Indeed zutys proposition is a good one , well i inspired modificated chaos from lady ravens , trap opposing and wanted to add some damge to it but in order to balance it i decreased the chance enemy losing its turn to 50% from 75% , but since icebolt is exactly the same , with only difference the opposing tageting , yes maybe it needs modification to 0-X dmg , but i think we should keep the opposing targeting .

I was actually thinking of an ability named Frost Breath (counterpart of Ice Bolt), which deals damage and freezes opposing targets (much like Chaos). I'm also liking the idea of randomizing the effects further (50% chance to decrease attack by 1 or 50% to decrease health by 1), maybe I'll add that idea to another ability. =)
